However, the honest truth is that we all need breaks, even at the expense of the beloved flow state. Ways to take a quick break include, taking a quick nap, taking a shower, going for a walk, having a talk with a friend, listening to music, or doing work of a different kind so that the mind has some variety in its life. Study burnout is a thing that we all have to come to terms with at some point or another. It’s no small feat to overcome it either but we must if we want to progress.
